Kelly joined the farm store crew in 2018 after moving to the Valley from Boston. She loves a good spreadsheet, a tidy stockroom, and a nice full flat of cherry tomatoes, so she's probably in the right place. Outside of work Kelly is usually looking at a flower, listening to a podcast, or painting. If she were a vegetable, she would probably be an onion!
Kelly Hickey: Owner & General Manager
Jess is Pioneer Valley born and raised and has been working at the farm store since 2017. After graduating from Smith College with a BA in Sociology & Landscape Studies, she was ready for something new. She stumbled upon Atlas and never left. If she were a vegetable, she’d be a patty pan squash because she’s vibrant, kind of funny, and works well with others.
Jess Robinson: Assistant Manager, Events & Outreach Coordinator
Hannah is a born and raised Pioneer Valley vegetable enthusiast. She joined the Atlas Farm Store team in 2020. With a passion for working with in-season, local produce, she’s always excited to incorporate something new into her culinary endeavors. If she were a vegetable, she would be a purple potato: classic and reliable with a pop of something unexpected!
Hannah Winans: Floor Supervisor
Isabel Bishop: Floor Supervisor
Originally from upstate New York, Molly has lived in Western MA since 2002, when she came to Hampshire College to study Sustainable Agriculture. She worked for many years as a farmer, through that work realizing that her true passion was cooking with locally grown produce. She owned and operated Beets & Barley, a vegetarian, local food focused catering company for 6 years before joining the Atlas Farm Store crew as prepared foods manager in 2019. When she is not cooking she can be found playing piano, guitar or fiddle, or hiking with her dog Remi! If she were a vegetable she would be a watermelon radish because she’s a little spicy, a little sweet, and a little crunchy.
Molly Merrett: Cafe Manager
Carly came to the valley in 2009 for studio art at UMass Amherst and has stayed ever since. Her love of food really grew when she assisted Molly Merrett with her Beets & Barley catering business. You can find some of her art prints around the store if you aren’t already enjoying one the soups, sandwiches or salads she’s prepared. Whenever she’s not cooking or painting, she’s spending time with her cat, Mac. If she were a vegetable, it would be a beet: bright, earthy, heart-based & full of color!
