We are a year-round market selling organic produce, quality groceries, and thoughtful gifts. All of our products are sourced from within a 200-mile radius, reducing our transportation footprint and offering you the freshest food around — not to mention supporting our neighbors and bolstering our local food economy!
About us.
Originally owned by Atlas Farm, the store took its first steps as a separate business in 2022, after being purchased by General Manager, Kelly Hickey. In November of 2025 the time had come to change our name to reflect our own work and values. The name Long River is an homage to the Algonquian name for the Connecticut River - Quinnehtukqut, meaning long and tidal - which is the lifeblood of our beloved valley. It separates and unites us; it is a source of joy, life, and loss; and with its ebbs and flows feeds our valley. We are so excied to share this name and invite you to join this new chapter of our work!
